Unfortunately a family illness has curtailed my exploits for a while so Dave kindly took me out tonight to clear me head. A drive round the valley produced a Sparrowhawk sitting on its kill in the driveway of a house in Sawbridge and the Hill Rd produced single Swallow, Fieldfare and 8 Golden Plover also 4 Buzzards in the general area. Garden very quiet now with only a Grey Heron seen.
